Terror in Mumbai

I heard of the attacks in Mumbai and sooo... many things crossed my mind. Apart from the well-being of my family, just the politics of all these things numbs my senses. And look at what these other nations have achieved. By spreading terror what are they achieving?? Power?? If Pakistan was to get Kashmir, what will they do with it??? What have they done/achieved with the space they have and the population that they have??? What is the point of all this?? Taj is such a beautiful old building, such lovely architecture.... I am sure that not one of these terrorists can come up with something even remotely as beautiful ever... Freedom Writers

Saw the movie again today while surfing channels... I think every educator should watch this movie... and although it does sort of make you feel more like a social worker than an educator, what is the point if you cannot help those in need?? The good ones are going to succeed anyways, whether anyone helps them or not!!! My favorite scene in the movie is the "stay on the line if.." scene... I love that.. It is very touching and very innovative and effective on part of the teacher!!! Check out the real freedom writers and their work here .
