Vote for Ankita

The Indian Idol fever is getting to me. This is the first time I am following Indian Idol and my favs are Amit Paul and Ankita Mishra....Agreed that Amit and Emon are gr8 singers but the gals are definitely putting in more effort....They are not only singing well but are also better performers than the guyz....and isn't the whole show about finding an all rounder???? At the end of the show the winner will get an album contract with Sony....So whoever the audience chooses will be all over the TV featuring in their music video.....Ankita is not only gr8 to listen to but also an absolute pleasure to watch on TV.........So I am rooting for ankita.......The gals are giving gr8 performances and they deserve a chance........So VOTE 4 ANKITA!!!!!

I have a soft corner for her as her last name is also Mishra.. but I really feel sad about Ankita.. because I know she is going to get voted out very soon.. At last people will look for a singer to be Indian Idol.. Honestly speaking she sings flat.. I wish her all the best.. and I wish she should improve her voice quality and should stop singing flat..

Indian Idol is around Hindi film songs.. I dont know what they are trying to do there.. loosing good singers like Deepali and Pooja.. are there singers any more in that contest.. except Amit an Emon? the show has become more useless talks/ acts than of Business..

N e way I wish all of them best of luck..

But now my favorite is Amul Star voice of India.. the quality and verity of singers, voices present in that show, is more than enough to provide good singers to Hindi Flim Industry for a generation..

Actually i agree with you. When I wrote this blog I was all for Ankita, but she did not really live up to my expectations. I always thought Amit and Ankita should be the final two contenders and I think that's possible even now. Sony might actually let her stay till the end, since she has her own fan following and is quite a crowd puller. But I will love to see Amit Paul win the competition. He has a magnetic voice.

what I must say is she has the Guts..
to do .. any thing what ever she loves to do..
Staying for such a long period among singers was not a simple job..
But what i felt is she is a better person than a singer.. when ever she was in trouble.. she remembered God..
I still remember her last few words.. @ Ind..idol " aaj main ek bhajan.. bhajan ga lun...?"

I keep adding new songs to my iPod every now and then and keep listening to the new ones over and over again. Yesterday for some reason I decided to listen to some older songs and decided to go for Jhankaar Beats . Saawariya

Like I had decided quite some time back, I rented Saawariya DVD to enjoy the movie on my widescreen HiDef TV (seriously, it's much better than the Indian theater that I went to last time). First of all I hated Salman Khan. He looks like he froze when shooting one of his older movies.... the same expression (or lack of any...) plastered on his face ALL THE TIME. I of course LUVED Ranbir Kapoor, liked Sonam Kapoor, much better than Deepika Padukone (that brouhaha about her was just hype I think...or maybe a good strategy by SRK!!!)... When the movie ended I thought, this can't be it.... all this for nothing???? I was disappointed... I guess I was expecting a miraculous change of heart and Sakina falling head over heels in love blah blah blah... I was expecting the usual Bollywood drama and romance, but SLB style.... meticulously made, beautiful to the last detail.... which it was sans the usual happily ever after ending...
